Lori McDonough, one of the original members of psalterbook, studied flute with Rochelle Doepke at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music before receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Education. In the fall of 2005 Lori became Director of Music and Worship at White Oak Presbyterian Church; she is also co-director of Small Wonders, the children's choir at WOPC. She is also the founder and director of the youth bell choir at White Oak. Active in all areas of worship at WOPC, her activities also extend into the community; she is responsible for establishing and overseeing the 10-year relationship between Whitewater Valley Elementary and the Ohio Arts Council's Artist-in-Residence program. She is also active with the Parent's Guild for the Cincinnati Boy Choir (her sons Brendan and James are members of the CBC). We could go on and on, but we told Lori she should probably get her own website! She is married to nationally-acclaimed playwright, Joe McDonough.
